So time for another painting update I guess. Have been busy working away on Blight Town. I think I am at a point now where it is playable so we are going to try a play test tonight, so will have that for tomorrow.
Goblin Town:
First up I painted a second Goblin Town set, so now I have twice as many walkways.
Part of me wants to get one more set hah, may have a problem. Actually I only want about half of it but still. Maybe will see how I get on with the other table and then come back.
Torches:
Bunch of braziers from some I put on special woods bases I had, and 2 to match the swamp a bit. These will provide some ares of illumination.
Mushrooms:
Then I painted a couple of basses of mushrooms, I dunno why I just thought it was cool. That one is coming out the eye socket of a skull! I ordered the torches from zealot miniatures and I got a few things that just seemed cool also.
Food Bags:
Clearly needed???
Rat Swarms:
Couple of Rat swarms, these I painted on purpose thou hah. Reaper bones I glued them on to a base, they were super quick and kind of cool. Not sure if they will be terrain or a weak monster. But they do make it more swampy.
Gargoyle Statues:
A pair of Gargoyle statues, More for the other table I guess but they seemed fun.
Plague Toads:
These guys are just fun, I particularly like the guy with the arm coming out of his mouth. Planning to use the Ice Toad stats for these chaps. Easy to kill but they do triple damage! SO watch out if they win a fight.
So that is where I am at for now, it's still in April so I feel like I am on top of things this year for once!
Have some more scenery type scatter elements to add from Armorcast but still waiting for them to show up. Piles of skulls and such.
Pledge Status 2016:
Bought: 155 (Blight Town Stuff)
Painted: 102
Total: -53 (ouch)
Thanks;
Mike
