Hello Folks,
Yesterday got the chance to play a few good games of Art De La Guerre. Took my Roman's to fight various other armies.
I did the same plan fir all 3 games, legions to the left, small not great cav to the right.
Time for zction game 1.
Cavalry fight on the flank.
My cav lost, camp got taken but managed to do some killing before then end so ot was at least a costly victory.
Game 2 same plan.
Similar cav battle, maybe actually worse.
Eventually get the legions to battle, but took to much on the flank so can't get much work done before ay gets demoralized.
Game 3, Finally a big old line of infantry for the legions to get stuck in against.
Glorious battle.
Still loose the cav battle on the flank, but the timing is much better. Lots of murdering for both sides. In the end I am just barely able to break them, while my army is just 1 point away from breaking! Close one.
Great games and very enjoyable day out.
