Hello Folks,
Another battle tech game for you, this time trying out my Comstar stuff with a couple of aerospace units for spice, and to see hiw that works. Facing the clans in a fungal crevasse, with the objective of just murder.
After turn 1 advancing to battle. My goal is to split the clan forces using the big central hill and do kill a mech or 2 before they can rejoin.
Turn 2 more advancing, but its dusk so still not really able to start shooting.
Next turn I jump the hill and focus fire, leaving just the sentinel on the left as the baot mech, he died faster then expected thou.
Taking some cover and hammering out shots, Managed to down a mad cat.
But next turn black knight gets killed, pretty much trading off at this point.
Trying to keep king crab alive and dishing out damage.
Battle spreads back into the left of the hill, trying to focus dien hellbringer now. Which does work, the aerospace guys come8ng in clutch.
But loose the crab next turn.
Trying to focus on direwolf now, loose another mech.
The corsairs can bring this game back thou.
Final turn, the clans shoot down an aerospace fighter, but I get the direwolf. That puts me slightly up on murder points, si a minor victory for Comstar!
Back to doing not at all suspicious experiments on a fungal planet...
