Had our final 40k day today at, end of an era for sure. Anyway we had 3 people so went for a king of the hill scenario.
I had Steel Legion
Vs Iron Warriors and Space Wolves 13th company
Here's the set up loads of Marines, loads pf tanks, and loads of evil Marines and tanks. Who can hold thr crash plane in the middle.
Iron warriors immedatly kill a chimera, so that's how ots gonna be eh. Also she'll some wolf guys.
Advance to the objective, and shoot up some Iron dudes.
Wolves march forward.
More shelling from the warriors and they kill a sentinel.
Raptors assault my tank commander, then retreat? Deep in to my lines. Don't question it.
The lads hope out to kill some raptors, tank commander was shaken so he backed it up.
Wolves charge a chimera and smash it, what do these guys have against chimeras?? Missed a couple turns of pics, eh long story short we blew up most of each other's tanks.
What i hoped would be the last turn I dashed my last chimera unto the objective.
Surrounded by like 40 Marines, with their chimera obliterated, these 5 guys had to explain sorry chaps times up planes ours, bad luck.
I think that wolf lord wanted 1 more turn but themselves the breaks!
